↟ Jehličnatý lesík ↟

Hi, I'm Jehlicnaty lesik (coniferous forest) and I draw folk fantasy art. You have entered the lair of a fabulous demonic digital artist, illustrator, designer, writer, freelancer, craftsman and just a pleasant personality (INFP-T) ↟ Commissions open ↟

↟ About me ↟

— Questions and Answers —— Are your commissions open?
— Yes, at the moment I accept commissions, they are open
If you want to order art, you can write to me personally on any social network convenient for you (the list of links to my pages is at the very bottom of the site, or in the contacts section). However, if it is urgent, there is a high probability that I will see your application in telegram, furaffinity, or by mail the fastest way (please mark art or commission in the subject line)
— Do you have a price list?
— Yes, to view the price list, please go to the appropriate tab.
At the moment, I work in several styles, so my price list shows only approximate prices for each type of art
— Do you accept character design orders?
— I can create characters based on your text descriptions, links and other reference materials. I also sometimes design characters and creatures for sale
— Can I use this image/ character for...?
— It is better to clarify this in private messages
— What program do you use?
— Ibis Paint x, sometimes CLIP studio Paint
— Which graphics tablet do you use?
— Now Samsung galaxy tab s9 fe, previously Parblo A610
— Have you studied art?
— If the children's club I had to go to counts, then yes. Otherwise, almost my entire family consists of creative people, or artists to one degree or another. My aunt is a designer, she worked for an advertising agency for many years, and now teaches at a college for designers. My mother is a sculptor and taught at art schools for children, now she also teaches. Since childhood, I liked drawing comics, so mother bought for me two Christopher Hart manuals "how to draw manga" and "how to draw cool comics", I learned from these books
— How long have you been painting?
— From my earliest childhood, my mother kept my works from the time when "I walked under the table and made baby talk on the lawn." Yes, the very works where I first got my hands dirty in paint, and then stained paper with paint and painted bizarre ladybirds and dinosaurs, more like funny monsters. I've been painting all my life, except for rare periods with short breaks. I'll be 28 this year
— What do you like to draw the most?
— I like to draw conifers, demons, Asian dragons, heraldic motifs, medieval fantasy. I also like the touch of folklore horror, but most of the time I just get to draw anime cute. I want to paint more serious and profound works, with a dark shade, but with a bright thought and a sacred message
— Your favorite artist?
— From modern ones: SOVKA, CelezArt, ferafel, Redium, REYKAT and some others
— Whose works inspire you?
— I am inspired by nature and its relationship with the culture of different nations. I am also inspired by philosophy, the "thought" of the process itself and the search for an idea — literally a harbinger of creativity
— How often do you paint?
— Almost every day. But sometimes I take a break from my many other hobbies. I like crafting. I can sew plush toys, make small movable interior toys. I recently tried chainmail weaving. I also like to set things up, go for a walk in nature, sing along to something quietly
— What were your first works like? Are they immediately perfect or crooked and lopsided?
— I still remember how, as a small child, I learned to draw at first. It was a Dino from yoghurts and Yo Asakura from a croissant pack. I only got Dino's face the first time, the other times it didn't work out and I was very nervous and crying because of it. I've probably been suffering from perfectionism since I was very young. I'm still in the process of unlearning perfectionism. When I was a little older, Yo Asakura was getting better. It was grade 4 in elementary school, and I got an excellent grade because I drew his portrait from memory in class. The whole class supported me and sincerely admired my work. It was nice :>
— Do you still have your old works?
— Yes, I will paint some of them again to give them a second life. But if you ask my mother, you can find an album of my works from kindergarten
— Why are you painting?
— Wait, how can I not draw? I have to become a famous comic book artist, there are so many plots and ideas inside me, so many living characters and meanings, I just have to give them life. And although I struggle with inner perfectionism, I can't imagine life and myself without drawing
— Are you afraid that your subscribers won't like this job?
— The sound part of my self-esteem is not afraid of value judgment from the outside. But there is another part, "the one with terrible perfectionism," or "the unloved part of me," which contains feelings like "oh my God, if I don't make every pixel in my work perfect, then no one will like it." I'm trying to get rid of this, now my goal is to become an imperfect artist, but a good comic book writer and storyteller
— What word or phrase could you use to describe your work, your creative potential?
— I've learned to be an open person in dialogue, but I'm only opening up in my work, despite the long way behind me. All the grandiose things are just ahead of me
— What topics do you care about and are most often reflected in your drawings?
— Here's an interesting little fact about how my failures in my personal life affected my work. I consciously shifted the focus of hyperfixation from the marker "find a couple with similar interests and views on life" to "coniferous plants". I searched desperately, but couldn't find the right muse (lady of the heart). That's why I stopped looking, and I try to take this place in my heart with love for coniferous plants. They are evergreen, and they also look like beautiful women in luxurious skirts or dresses. For me, they are like a collective image of an "always young and always faithful, strong woman." Even when I was feeling very lonely, but I couldn't even get a cat or dog, because I lived in rented housing, I would come to the park in the evening and stroke the coniferous trees while no one was looking. I know it's weird, but they have furry, spiky paws. And it helped me get through the stress, along with my brother. It was when we moved to a new city, and we lost the only friends we had here
— Was there a moment in your life when inspiration left you (a creative crisis)?
— There were such moments. There were also moments when I left the fandom for many years, or abandoned my characters. For example, as a child, my creativity was supported until I began to become a teenager. Then my parents and some important friends decided that I was "playing too much into the same characters" and began to scold or criticize me for my hobbies. Or in a moment of intense emotion, it may also be that I don't put them on paper, but just digest them until this state lets go
— Do you mind if I ask you questions?
Yes, within reason

↟ Terms of service | Info ↟

Terms of cooperation and provision of servicesThe commissioner’s rights: The customer has the right to freely post the ordered art on the Internet, as well as to create physical copies and prints for personal non-commercial purposes
The customer has the right to personal (non-commercial) use of the ordered art/character designs, including in personal non-commercial projects (free books, music, games). Pointing me out as a performer is a simple act of politeness, so I hope for your understanding (except in rare cases when I personally asked not to do this)
If you want to use the ordered art/character designs for commercial purposes, you will need to pay an additional fee (+100% of the total cost). It will also be mandatory to indicate my authorship. For special cases, I can consider discussing and drafting a contract
The customer does not have the right to create an NFT from already ordered art without prior notice, you must notify strictly before making an order or at the time of its discussion before completing the order. I can take on an NFT order, but only if you informed me about it at the pre-order discussion stage. The price list for creating art/gallery for NFT is different and will be noticeably higher
The customer remains the sole owner of the original characters and creatures depicted on the commissioned work. As a performing artist, I guarantee that I will not sell the commissioned work as an NFT
The customer is responsible for which characters will be used in the order. A performing artist cannot know all the characters and their authors/owners, so if you decide to order someone else's character and a controversial/conflict situation arises as a result, then you, as the customer, bear full responsibility as the initiator of creating art with someone else's character. This is especially true in cases where you have not notified the artist and the owner of the character in advance
The customer receives a png file with the ordered high-quality art/character design after full payment, except for installment payments. In case of payment in installments, the first payment is a guarantee of the transfer of access to the purchased product (art/ character design)
The author rights: The author holds the copyright to all custom-made works of art, illustrations, and designs
The author reserves the right to publish (or not publish) all finished works made to order on his social networks
The author reserves the right to publish high-resolution files and intermediate stages of work in the donation system (Boosty, Patreon and others)
The author reserves the right to publish videos of the art creation process, including accelerated shooting on the YouTube channel or other similar video platforms, indicating the authorship of the customer/owner The characters depicted
The author reserves the right to publish (or not publish) the process of creating art on streaming services in real time
The customer receives a PNG file with the ordered character illustration/design in high resolution only after full payment
General rules:The commission's request is automatically rejected if it contains the following topics and subjects:
real people (without their consent), violent scenes, any images of sexual harassment, torture and other forms of physical violence.;
Links and text descriptions are always necessary, no matter what theme should be depicted on the commissioned work.;1. Payment1.1 Payment is made via PayPal, Lavatop, or Boosty
1.2 Before submitting a request to purchase a character design or custom art/illustration, calculate whether you will be able to pay for it in full immediately, unless otherwise specified (for example, in installments), and also make sure that you will not need to refund funds due to various unforeseen circumstances.
1.3 If you want to cancel the order or refund the money when the work on my part has already begun, I have the right not to refund the money, however, in some cases this is resolved through a personal conversation.
2. Work schedule/deadlines2.1 I don't work in a hurry, my work schedule is quite tight and designed in such a way that, in addition to working on your projects, I can practice and improve. If you want to speed up the pace of my work, it's worth discussing it in person.
2.2 If, for some reason beyond my control (for example, due to health problems), it may take longer than expected to complete the work on time. I will inform you about it immediately.
2.3 The actual duration of the work is negotiated individually and depends on the amount of work, complexity, number of characters and other factors (time zone difference)
3. Edits/changes3.1 Changes concerning the anatomy or features of the character are considered free of charge in cases where, by prior agreement, the rules for drawing the character are established (i.e., high-quality references are provided). This means that before starting work, it is also necessary to agree on a number of work requirements, and there should be nothing in the work beyond what was previously agreed, otherwise all additional elements will be paid separately.
3.2 In the course of work, you can request up to three significant corrections. These include changes in position and perspective, etc. Any significant edits are only possible at the sketch stage; additional edits will increase the cost of the work.
3.3 If you want to change the concept of a job at the completion stage, it will be considered as a new job for the next individual order. Therefore, if you need exactly the same art work but with several final options, let us know in advance at the stage of discussing the idea or at the stage of creating a sketch. This will cost a little more than only one final option (for example: the same background, but the character in two different poses / with different clothes; or the same pose but two different backgrounds).
3.4 In some cases, I may not charge for editing, but these are time and reasonable limits. For example, in some cases I can make more than three edits for free, but after that I can warn you that there will be a fee for further edits.
3.5 If the work is completed and approved, no further edits will be made, and the work will be considered completed to the end.
3.6 All stages of art creation will be sent to you for approval, and after your approval will be considered agreed.
4. Working with nsfw content4.1 If you are a minor, parental rights are automatically assumed (your parents or guardians are responsible for you and for what you order);
4.2 If NSFW content is requested, you must be 18 years of age or older (depending on the age of majority in your area);
4.3 If you are under 18 years old and you request NSFW content, I also have the right to refuse you.
4.4 If your age does not correspond to the age of majority, but you intentionally/unintentionally concealed this when ordering, then regardless of the circumstances and age, you are fully responsible for this, primarily to your parents/guardians
5. I reserve the right to stop working on the order in the following cases5.1 If you personally contacted me with this question for any personal reasons or asked me to suspend my work.
5.2 If we have agreed on a payment schedule with you, but you have not transferred the money before the payment deadline for the new part of the work. In this case, the work is suspended until the missing part is transferred and resumed after a new payment.
5.3 If an emergency force majeure event has occurred on my side (but beyond my control) before the deadline for eliminating the consequences of these circumstances (health recovery, repairs, business trip, etc.). After these circumstances are eliminated, I can continue working, and I will definitely complete your order in the best possible way.
5.4 If I do not get in touch at the moment when we have agreed on this, it means that extraordinary force majeure circumstances have occurred. Please do not worry and be patient, I will definitely write in the near future, usually a day or two, a week at most (I always inform you in advance if possible). In this case, you can also try contacting me through my other social networks.
6. A little more about controversial and difficult situations...6.1 In particularly serious cases, if, as a result of fulfilling all my obligations, all additions to the application, as well as if the buyer refuses to pay or completely stops paying in installments without paying the minimum amount for the month (calculated as: the total amount is divided into equal parts, and the amount of one such part is the minimum amount for installment payments. For example, if the total cost of $1,000 is divided over 6 months, then the minimum amount will be ~$167).
This rule takes effect if the minimum amount has not been deposited in more than 2 months.
I admit the possibility of a force majeure situation, but only 2 times during the entire period of the payment plan. (If the buyer/customer does not pay systematically and violates the promises of payments within the time limits specified by him, confirmed by me as the author, this is a gross violation of the payment plan).
You can make a deposit less than the minimum amount, and this will be considered a payment, but this is included in the conditions of a force majeure situation.
We can also personally discuss particularly difficult cases when installment payment is no longer possible and payment terms are uncertain.
Combined with all the factors and gross violations of the payment plan or attempts to reduce the established payment plan, if all the additions have already been drawn, I can restart the auction and put the character up for sale again. Also, all add-ons along with the files are transferred to another owner. At the same time, all previously paid money is not returned and is used to compensate for the time and labor spent.

6.2 In case of insults directed at me or my characters/my work, I have the right to stop working. (I am very glad that such cases have never happened, but I would really hate for this to happen).
